Time 2 Katchup

“Time 2 Katchup” exhibition follows the success of “Tom Arto Can” exhibition at Colonnade House (2023).

Tom shares his joy of life, drawing at the Cellar Art Club and landscape painting, inspired by the wonderful people and places on the Sussex Coast and Southdown scenery.

Tom’s vibrant pictures show spontaneous marks, reflecting the subjects energy and diversity. Highlighting distinctive features by using a mix of media: oil and acrylic paints, pen, knives and brushes. Tom says:

“Making and sharing pictures expresses things that are difficult to say or put into words”.

Tom studied Fine Art and Communications at Cass School in London (1991-96), and a Master of Fine Art at University of Brighton (2017-19). Research into a couple of influential Franks: Bowling’s poetic abstracts and Brangwyn’s figurative prints all impacted his own art.

Tom describes art as both a passion and form of mediation too, and we look forward to “Time 2 Katch-up” which shares come of T🍅M ART🍅 recent creative outputs.
