Join us to raise awareness of the climate crisis on a city-wide scale!

We've arranged with Brisbane City Council again to light the Story Bridge and Victoria Bridge to represent the 'Warming Stripes' for Queensland. The 'Warming Stripes' are a powerful visual that uses a colour scale to show the average yearly temperature increases over time between 1850-2024.

#ShowYourStripes Day is a global moment we're participating in to start conversations about climate change and raise awareness of the causes and solutions (Professor Ed Hawkins, University of Reading).

We'll be gathering at Captain Burke Park to view the lights, have conversations over a sausage sizzle, take photos and videos, and hand out Climate Action Now signs.

You can contribute in any way you'd like - from providing your company and conversation, taking photos and sharing on social media, to helping with the sausage sizzle, sharing snacks, or doing some public engagement.

We had a great time getting together to view the stripes and raise awareness when we did this last year and we're doing it again. This time we want to make it bigger with your support!
