Sound Arts Initiatives is proud to present ONSOUND IV: what is jazz? July 16-19, 2025. Showcasing some of the most innovative and boundary-pushing artists from across Canada and right here at home.
Our third evening concert showcases the vocal stylings of local artists Natasha Blackwood and Ana Luísa Ramos. Joined by trumpeter Terry Campbell, Natasha Blackwood performs original compositions from her sophomore album Good Machines. Ana Luísa Ramos brings her unique mix of original songwriting and Brazilian bossa nova to the LSPU stage, joined by a band of incredible local performers (Bill Brennan, piano; Jim Vivian, bass; Eric Taylor Escudero, guitar; Jacob Slous, drums).
