The Junior League of Lufkin, in partnership with Angelina County churches, businesses and service organizations, hosts the annual Back to School Bonanza on the last Friday & Saturday of July each summer. Back to School Bonanza is a drive-thru event.
Back to School Bonanza provides 2,400+ FREE backpacks filled with school supplies to Angelina County school children (PreK-12). In addition to the backpacks, children may receive a free health kit, school uniforms, shoes and socks. Quantities are first come, first serve.
