Searching for Humanity: An Artist Panel Discussion
Featuring M. Saffell Gardner, Rufus Snoddy, Lindy Bishop and Andrew Dost
This panel brings together four distinct voices—Gardner, Snoddy, Bishop and Dost—whose practices span continents, cultures, and disciplines, yet converge around a common purpose: to reflect and reimagine the human experience through art.
From Gardner’s spiritually-charged abstraction rooted in ancestral memory, to Snoddy’s view of art as a timeless visual language, to Bishop’s land-based practice bridging rural life and global exchange, to Dost’s multidisciplinary work in music, visual art, and social advocacy—each artist brings a unique lens to the human story.
Together, they explore how art becomes a vessel for hope, reflection, and connection in the ongoing search for humanity. Moderated by Jessica Kooiman Parker, Alluvion Arts Curator.
