VENUE NOTE: There will be a tour of the Pitney Meadows perimeter trail 5:30-6:30, led by Pitney's Environmental Educator and STA Board members, followed by the 'traditional' STA Trail Chat in the High Tunnel at Pitney from 6:30-7:30pm.
This month we are joined by New York State Parks State-wide Trails Program Planner, Chris Morris! Chris will give us an overview of NY State Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and help us understand the important work that NY State Parks is doing in Saratoga County for trail development.
Join us for our Monthly Community Trail Chat, hosted by the nonprofit Saratoga Trails Alliance. This series aims to bring together trail user groups to discuss their interests, favorite trails, usage, and desired future connections. We provide a safe space for everyone to share their experiences and learn about trails across Saratoga County. Each week, a speaker will kick off the chat, introducing us to different trail user groups and organizations. It's a great opportunity to listen, learn, ask questions, and collaborate to advance trail initiatives. All are welcome! These events are free of charge and will be hosted by Pitney Meadows Community Farm this month.
