Build your Bickford's Lantern!

2 sessions: 1:00 - 2:00pm and 2:30 - 3:30pm
Resembling a brass clipper ship lantern of old, your lantern will be constructed around a Bickford's bottle and will be lit by a flickering amber light-emitting diode (LED). You will use a variety of hand tools and a glue gun, and will test your completed lantern in our dark-box before taking it home to illuminate your bedroom at night.
Tickets are $20 each and include a $5 discount voucher for an adult to tour the Clipper Ship at Dock 2, Port Adelaide at a later date: children tour free of charge.
