Come and join me for a fun day learning how to create a beautiful moon gazing hare sculpture for your garden. No experience necessary.

Hello,
My name is Helen McCormick and I'm a local artist and qualified art and design teacher. I've been creating objects from clay for over 28 years, and I still absolutely love the process. I am passionate about teaching and have created this workshop to share my skills, knowledge and experience with anyone who would like to have a go for the first time or to develop their skills further.

My workshop is designed to be a relaxed friendly space where you can meet new people and have the opportunity to create, learn and have fun. Throughout the day I will teach you how to make a hare sculpture using traditional hand-building techniques. No experience necessary.

All materials and equipment will be provided. Tea and Coffee will be available throughout the day. The only thing you need to bring is a packed lunch, an apron and wear old clothes if possible.

There is no parking at Nancy Potter House. The nearest Pay and Display Carpark is The Lord Nelson.

Please follow me on Instagram and Facebook to see photographs of work made in my previous workshops. Search for Helen McCormick Ceramics
NB: Helen McCormick is a fully qualified art and design teacher with a masters degree in ceramics. Helen has an enhanced DBS check.
