This class is a great way to spend your Saturday. Save brunch for Sunday and come burn calories, stretch challenge your mind and body to learn something new. About the Instructor:
Julia Alcantara has an extensive Resume in Dance Instruction including 4 seasons as a Elementary school Ballroom Instructor – through the Dancing Classrooms Program 2006 - 2008 Junior Players – Flamenco for kids of all ages Kindergarten through High School UTD – executed 2 six week Artist Residencies 2006 & 2016 Choreographed Ravel's Bolero for live orchestra in ‘Dallas Treasures’ Concert 2019 Organized more than 15 Flamenco Festivals in Dallas, TX since 1999 Allen Dance studio Summer Intensive 2022 & 2023.
She has produced thousands of events bringing flamenco and other ethnic entertainment to numerous restaurants, open air spaces, and performing arts venues across the Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston area including the Bishop Arts District and Deep Ellum where she hosted 4 festivals prior to moving to Oak Cliff. Her dance studio teaches beginner to professional level dance and offers classes in Flamenco Guitar and Singing in artist residencies twice a year
