Molly Nova & the Hawks brings together several professional musicians from Eastern Iowa - Molly Nova (Violin, Bass,Vocals), Turk E. Krause (Drums, Vocals), Evan Stock (Guitar, Vocals), Russ Moore (Keyboards) and Vinny Benyshek (Guitar, Bass, Vocals).
Molly Nova and the Hawks have many years of experience playing all kinds of music, resulting in a style of music that is all their own – original timeless music with ballads, rockers and grooves not limited to any genre. It’s just Sweet Rockin’ Roots & Blues!
Molly was inducted into the Iowa Blues Hall Of Fame on April 2nd, 2023 in Des Moines. Other awards include the 2003 Minnesota Music Academy Award for Best Blues Recording in 2003 and Molly & Turk have both been inducted twice into the Iowa Rock N' Roll Music Association Hall Of Fame.
Valley Junction is the place to be in Central Iowa on Thursday nights May through September. The beverage garden in Railroad Park opens at 5:00 with live music at 6:00 pm.
