Summer Sundays ft. The Get Down

Summer Sundays are back for their fourth season! Join us every Sunday evening this summer at the Jamie Hurd Amphitheater as it comes alive with free live music from talented local artists. From 6 to 8 pm, a different band will take the stage each week to get your toes tapping and your hands clapping.

Each concert also features a rotating lineup of food trucks offering delicious meals and treats to complement the music and make your evening even more enjoyable. Food trucks will begin serving at 5 pm, so come early, grab dinner, and settle in for a great night of entertainment.

Taking the stage this week is The Get Down, a Des Moines-based band known for their vibrant mix of soul, jazz, funk, R&B, and neo-soul. Their smooth grooves and dynamic performances bring energy and passion to every show.

Dinner this week is served by Kulinary Khaos, a woman-owned food truck offering a variety of delicious burgers, tenderloins, khaos fries, and more. Their flavorful menu brings something satisfying for every appetite. For dessert, Fruits n Such serves fresh fruit, delicious smoothies, and apple nachos with a refreshing and flavorful twist that’s perfect for summer evenings.
