Please join us at GTLUG's monthly meeting--second Monday of the month. Meetings are at Northwestern Michigan College (NMC), in the lower level of the Timothy J. Nelson Innovation Center (TJNIC) building, Room #15.
This month we have two topics that sort of relate to each other.
For the first half of the meeting, Derek will discuss Java on Linux. One of our members may do a demonstration of a PostgreSQL JDBC Foreign Data Wrapper (FDW), if there's sufficient interest.
For the latter half of the meeting we'll lighten the mood with Minecraft. Robert will show off running Java Minecraft (servers and clients) on Linux. He will show off some various mods, and other administrative tips and tricks.
Robert may also use some of this time to update us on this phase of the group computer construction project. We do still would like some feedback on this.
If you have any questions, or comments, please post on the event wall, or /join us on IRC (see event host for details).
After the meeting, given sufficient interest, we may retire to some establishment nearby for beverages and food.
