Sudharshana Jayanti is dedicated to the Sudarshana Chakra of Maha Vishnu. It is believed that the holy Chakra made its appearance on the day. Worshipping Sudharshana Chakra is equivalent to worshipping all the ten Avatars of Vishnu.
The Sudharshana Chakra, or the divine missile of Lord Sriman Narayana, is one of the Lord’s powerful weapons in annihilating evil forces and to reinstate the Dharma or the righteousness on the earth.
