Stories We Carry: Veterans Writing Workshop

There is nothing more powerful or more sacred than the Stories We Carry. In this narrative/visual art workshop for military veterans, we will use in-class writing prompts to bring your stories to the forefront. Experimentation in prose and poetry is equally encouraged.

Students will express personal experiences through writing and art, exploring hybrid writing and ink art inspired by sumi-e painting and calligraphy. Combine writing and imagery into an autobiographical keepsake in this one day workshop, and connect with the power of writing for creativity and well-being. No previous writing or art experience is required.

This workshop will take place at Cameron Art Museum.
