Itsa Shash will host this special Family Saturday event. Shash is an Indipino storyteller, poet, and musician descended from Indeh (Apache), Nahua, Chichimeca, and Filipino peoples.
Shash’s storytelling and music are deeply rooted in his Native American heritage, particularly from growing up immersed in Sundance, Mexica danza, the Native American Church, and powwow culture.
Shash has been bringing stories and music to schools and social gatherings nationwide since he was four years old. His work celebrates culture, empowers the community, and shares wisdom and joy.
