Izzy Cruz is a jazz fusion, multifaceted artist based in Minneapolis. Whether they’re performing solo or with a full band, Cruz incorporates multiple different genres and art styles into their work. Muscle Fork
Muscle Fork began its musical collaboration in 2008 with Ken Kartak and Arthur Begley playing and singing their songs together. In 2010 they were joined by Dillon Marchus on bass guitar. The band took an almost decade long hiatus from 2011-2018 over the time that Ken moved away from and returned to Minneapolis. The band started up again playing stripped back sets of originals and standards. Marc Ouellette (drums) came into the picture in 2021 to complete the four piece jazz rock band. Muscle Fork keeps the music that they play open and spontaneous while still focusing on the song’s essence.
