Walnut Hills Neighborhood Association is hosting a recycling event for the neighborhood and surrounding areas. This will be held On June 28th from 9am-11:30am at Ohmer Church 1357 Arbor Ave.
Start collecting your recyclable items around your home that you can't dispose of in our everyday recycling. The Walnut Hills Neighborhood Association is creating an opportunity to get them out of your home and into our hands. Once the event is over we will take them to the Montgomery County Recycling Center.
The idea of the drop off is similar to a drive through. Cars enter on Clarence and exit on Carlisle. When the car reaches its turn to hand over the recyclables, a group of volunteers will collect each vehicle's items and then organize them in each recycled items group. Once all the cars have left, Volunteers will then load up the items in (volunteers personal) trucks and drive them to the county recycling center and unload them.
