Summer Camp at the Gallery (Ages 10–12)

This summer, young artists will discover the Gallery as they look at, think about, discuss and create art in new, creative and thoughtful ways!
From August 18 to 22, campers will have the opportunity to explore four exhibitions through activities and tours: "Riopelle: Crossroads in Time," "Emily Carr: Navigating an Impenetrable Landscape," "Otani Workshop: Monsters in My Head" and "Postcards from the Heart: Selections from the Brigitte and Henning Freybe Collection."
Taking inspiration from the works and ideas on display, campers will then experiment in-studio with a variety of mediums and processes to create their own works of art.
At the end of the week, campers will celebrate with a Summer Camp 2025 exhibition on the final day of the camp, where work will be displayed and shared with family and friends.
Camps will be offered for children aged 10 to 12. Capacity is limited to 20 participants.
Please bring two nut-free snacks and a water bottle. Food and beverages will not be provided.
Registration cost for a half-day camp is:
$220 for Gallery Members
$240 for General Public
Two camp sessions will be offered for children ages 7 to 10 from July 7 to 11 and for ages 10–12 from August 18 to 22.
