What does the event entail?
Join us for a heart-opening afternoon of rhythm, movement, and connection in the Home of Truth’s Sanctuary. This drum and percussion circle is a welcoming space for all—no experience needed, just a willingness to feel the beat and be present with community.

Who is hosting/facilitating:
Led by the dynamic and spirited Shazam, (aka Suzanne Cimone) this gathering will guide participants through a series of grounding rhythms, intuitive drumming, and communal sound-making. Whether you’re a seasoned drummer or a total beginner, you’ll be supported in exploring the healing and unifying power of percussion.
Shazam is a career musician and community ritual leader known for her engaging, soulful approach to rhythm. With over 20 years of experience in drum facilitation and sound healing, she brings deep joy, curiosity, and cultural reverence to each circle she leads. Shazam believes in rhythm as a universal language that connects us to ourselves, each other, and the Earth.

Who should come: This event is open to all ages and levels of experience. Come solo or bring a friend—there are a few drums available to share, but we recommend bringing your own (drum or percussion instrument) if you have one.

Cost:
$15 suggested donation (no one turned away for lack of funds)

Let’s come together in rhythm, community, and celebration. We can’t wait to drum with you!
