Time to Party With A Purpose to support United Way of the Greater Dayton Area: Freedom Schools at Dayton Beer Company!

"Freedom Schools provides free summer literacy enrichment that helps children fall in love with reading, increases their self-esteem, and generates more positive attitudes toward learning. Children in the program are taught using an integrated reading curriculum that supports children and families around five essential components:
1. High-quality academic enrichment
2. Parent and family involvement
3. Civic engagement and social action
4. Intergenerational leadership development
5. Nutrition, health, and mental health
We are committed to making summer enrichment opportunities available to youth that might not otherwise have access. At least 80% of scholars’ household income is at 250% of the federal poverty guideline or below. We also provide reserved enrollment slots for children in foster care."
