David Blake Trio

Vancouver-born guitarist David Blake is developing a name for himself in New York’s vibrant jazz community, and with “engaging melodies in the forefront, underscored by intricate harmonies and shifting time signatures” (All About Jazz), his sound bridges both creative scenes. He’s recently released two albums: Fun House—featuring Vancouverites Brad Turner, Bernie Arai, Conrad Good, and Thad Bailey-Mai—and Trio, with internationally renowned artists Ari Hoenig and Drew Gress. For this show, his Trio features Conrad Good (bass) and Joe Poole (drums).
