some say it started when a little Jamaican girl named Millie Small living in England recorded a Ska song called ‘My Boy Lollypop' about 1964, a period when Jamaica at the same time achieved their independence and became a part of the Commonwealth there was a great migration of Jamaican and other Carribean people who settled in England. They brought with them their own musical influences and of course the rich caribbean flavas. This August The Oddfellows will recreate this era with food 🍽 from ONE LOVE CATERERS & music from the formidable STEPPAS ENTERTAINMENT 🎶
