Terrapin Twirl: A Grateful Dead Dance Party
Join us for a dance party celebrating Jerry Garcia's life and music, featuring live and unreleased gems from Jerry Garcia's projects including The Grateful Dead, JGB and Reconstruction. As well as remixes of GD, Garcia’s influences and those he inspired -- all blended together by DJ Takimba. He will be blending and re-imagining remixes from the The Grateful Dead, Classic Rock & Current Jam Bands.
This dance party will also be a feast for the eyes, featuring Easy -- one of Portland's most amazing light magicians -- paying homage to the old liquid light shows of yesteryear by Portland’s late great Gary Ewing, taking you back to the psychedelic heyday of 1960s San Francisco.
