What can you expect from SB:
Bangers from the 90s/00s Nu-Metal, Alt-Rock/Metal and Grunge scene! 3 hours of non-stop covers from bands like Deftones, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Static-X, Godsmack and much more! We are what you would call a small taste of Sacramentos Aftershock Festival.
We specialize in bringing old songs back to life for newer and older generations of music listers alike. The songs may be approaching their classic era, but we bring the same energy and fire from when they first released!
Who is Smooth Brains you might ask?
The earliest concept of the band started in 2020 when Tony started teaching Jaimie how to play guitar. From there we added singer here, a drummer there and we were ready to rumble. Rapidly building a catalog of songs that are faithful to the originals. One day we were hangin out around the rehearsal space and we asked ourselves, βwhat do you think of playing these for people?β From there SB was born. 4 years later and 30+ shows in we still have just as much fun as the first time we decided to do the dang thing.
