Gem City Swing Practice Sessions

Have you been to Gem City Swing on a Tuesday recently and thought, "That move could use a little more work"? Looking for a focused opportunity to level up your blossoming skills as a swing dancer? Maybe you just want to become a true Dance Geek (TM), obsessed with all those tiny details (no judgment here!). Then join us for a Practice Session!

Practice sessions are dedicated time and space for swing dancers to practice and improve. NOTE: This is a self-directed session. NO formal instruction is provided. (If you are looking for formal instruction, attend our Tuesday lessons at 7pm!)

Bring your dance shoes, your enthusiasm, and your willingness to share what you know. Practice sessions are perfect for working on technique, trying out new moves, and getting in some social dance time. Prior swing dance experience is recommended.
