Royce Johns will perform at the Leonard Grimes Memorial Amphitheater at Grimes Farm on Thursday, September 18 from 6:00-8:00pm. This event is free and open to the public, thanks to our sponsors--the Ann C. Keyser Trust and supportive members of the Friends of Marshall County Conservation. Food will be available for purchase from local food trucks.
Join us for a night of traditional country music with Royce Johns. Royce is a husband, father, guitar picker, and singer/songwriter. He has been pickin’ and grinning’ for the last decade and has been fortunate to work with some talented singers, songwriters, and musicians. He has played with Sammy Kershaw, Sawyer Brown, Trick Pony, and many others.
Those attending may bring beer and wine to drink with them, but must abide by the following rules: All laws of the State of Iowa regarding consumption of alcohol will be strictly observed. Violation of state code with regard to alcohol consumption will result in expulsion from the area. No kegs, hard liquor, or glass beer bottles are allowed.
There is limited fixed seating at the amphitheater, so please bring a lawn chair to enjoy the show!
