The fourth annual Henry R. Fenbert Challenging History Lecture welcomes presenter Aaron Goings, professor of history at Peninsula College. Goings will explore the rise of American labor movements during the Gilded Age. His presentation will focus on new research included in his upcoming book Red Harbor: Radical Workers and Community Struggle in the Pacific Northwest, which explores labor and class conflict in Grays Harbor.
About Aaron Goings
Aaron Goings is professor of history at Peninsula College. His books include The Port of Missing Men: Billy Gohl, Labor, and Brutal Times in the Pacific Northwest, winner of the 2021 Sally and Ken Owens Book Award.
