Youth Sailing STEM Summer Camp Week #4 (420's and Sunfish)

Campers aged 9-15 will be introduced to the fun of sailing through classroom education and sailing in Dutchman’s Creek. Learn to “ride the wind” in Sunfish - minimum weight is 120 pounds if single handing or Club 420's for double-handling. This boat is used for high school and collegiate racing.
Campers will learn boating basics, rigging, right of way rules, points of sail and sailboat maneuvers. We will also be covering new STEM skills each week of camp. The first Monday's of each week of the camp, there will be a trip out to Brunswick Community College to perform a swim test.
