The Brian and Friends Jazz Esemble

Band leader and singer Brian Smith known in the Chelmsford area for inspiring many grassroot players and singers to step into the spot light at his Two Brewers Jazz Club, now brings his Jazz Ensemble with Special Guest Trumpeter Ollie Wyatt to the Hot Box .

“ Four friends got together in February 2023 for a Charity Event in Colchester and so Brian & Friends was formed. We’ve grown into a succesful seven piece Jazz Ensemble playing Jazz Standards with a little Soul. Expect to hear Jazz from different eras like Fats Waller’s “Ain’t Misbehavin”, Richard Rogers’s “Blue Moon”, Jobim’s “Ipanema” and Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together” ”
