JOIN US THIS AUGUST FOR THE 9TH YEAR OF THE SOUTH SHIELDS 10 MILE.
The race is highly regarded in the North East running calendar and a great benchmark of fitness before the Great North Run in September.

The event is renowned for its friendly & supportive community atmosphere and we welcome runners of all abilities to take part.

Starting at the idyllic Souter Lighthouse National Trust site, the course heads North along the beautiful South Shields coastline and The Leas before returning. The route is fully marked & marshalled by our amazing volunteer team with fantastic support & refreshments along the way. Look out for beautiful views of Marsden Rock, Frenchman's Bay, Sandhaven Beach & even dolphins swimming by!
All finishing runners will receive a South Shields 10 Mile medal for taking part. Awards will be provided for first 3 male & female finishers.
