A scenic moderate loop walk through ancient woodland, open fell, lake shores, and up to Black Fell summit

Peaceful sections through Tarn Hows, Iron Keld plantation, and Loughrigg-style fell terrain

Itinerary:

10:30am – Meet at Tarn Hows National Trust Car Park

10:45am – Walk briefing & warm-up

11:00am – Begin long loop via Tom Gill Waterfall

1:00pm – Mid-walk summit rest at Black Fell

2:30–3:00pm – Return loop to Tarn Hows and optional picnic / cafΓ© in Coniston
