The People's Proud Picnic of Worthing is an independant free sober LGBTQIA+ social gathering to celebrate our joy, liberation, survival and our solidarity as we face all our ongoing and intersectional battles.
Bring your own picnic, flags and pride,
read some poetry, tell a story, give a speech, sing a song or simply watch and enjoy the open mic and community vibes under the shade of the lovely trees.
The open mic portion of this event will start at 2pm
Everyone is welcome including our wonderful cis and straight allies though the mic will be reserved specifically for those who are not straight and/or not cis.
Please keep our immunocompromised comrades safe by taking a lateral flow test before attending and of course not attending if you test positive or have new covid/flu related symptoms.
Please be mindful that this is a family friendly event when considering your contributions to the open mic and do make everyone aware of any potential triggers, with a moment for folks to respond as needed to these, before starting your performance, thank you ❤
