Pip’s Last Adventure
Advertisement
Start Location: The Cornish Oven, Next to Scorrier Filling Station Redruth TR16 5AW
Meeting from 10am stands up at 11am. The Cornish Oven will be open for refreshments.
We will be Heading across the county with a mid point stop at The Lizzard where we will stop for a short while, the ride will then finish at The Plume of Feathers in Scorrier.
This ride is in memoriam of Pip Ninnis.
Pip was an avid biker from a young age, taking part in school boy scrambling and then going on to work at Carlyon’s in Camborne where he delighted in taking various bikes out for test drives. Affiliated with no one but friend to all, Pip knew many local bikers in the area and beyond. He loved to work on his own and friend’s bikes, often bringing bits into the house to be cleaned, polished or sprayed, (and resprayed when he didn’t quite like the colour). Unfortunately he had to give up riding due to his health but he loved seeing friends at various bike shows and meets.
100% of the funds raised will go to the charity. The charity for this run has been chosen by PiP’s Family and will be either The Sunrise Centre or Teenage Cancer Trust. To be confirmed asap.
Minimum Donation £5 per Bike or Trike.
Please see the link below for any extra donations prior to the event.
