Our ever popular Craft Fair is back for 2025.
Since 1987, Brancepeth Castle Craft Fairs have been held twice each year: the last Fri-Sun in July, and the last Fri-Sun in November.
Acclaimed as one of the best organised Craft Fairs in the North-East, the crafts on offer are all selected for quality and diversity with an emphasis on real craft work. The person standing behind the stall will have made or designed the goods on offer and would love to tell you about their work, so do ask them!
The stalls both indoors and outdoors in the five lovely ground floor rooms of the castle and in the enclosed grassy courtyard.
The fair is organised and staffed by the owners of the castle which brings an unusual personal touch to the event. We hope you enjoy the beauty of this medieval castle as the back-drop to the fair.
Accessibility: Lift to access ground floor, or 6 steps with handrail. All on a level once entering the building.
