Wham, bam, POP BAM! Lake Macquarie's newest pop culture festival returns this July at Hunter Sports Centre, Glendale.

Join us for the ultimate pop culture extravaganza at one of Lake Macquarie’s most anticipated events of the year.

Dive into a world where your favourite movies, TV shows, comics, and music come alive in a vibrant celebration of creativity and fandom.

From cosplay and celebrity guests to lightsaber battles, movie vehicles and creative workshops, POP BAM delivers pop culture fun for fans of all ages.

Event highlights:

• Cosplay panel and parade
• In conversation with actor Matt Doran
• Star Wars with the 501st and Rebel legions, and meet the Ghostbusters team
• Sword play with Newcastle Swordcraft and Saber Academy • Demonstration with The Sons of Obiwan
• Movie props with Simon Wait from Heroes and More
• Sabre Academy Demonstration with The Sons of Obiwan
• Pop culture vehicle exhibits and mini LEGO displays
• Mobile video games truck, cosplay meet and greet and pop culture stalls
• Activities zone with anime, manga, drawing workshops, craft and more.
