Rage Against the Regime

We’ve marched. We’ve rallied. We’ve protested. It’s time to step up our game.

It’s time to harness our collective nonviolent power to resist

About this Event

On August 2, we invite the people of Massachusetts to join us for a festival of nonviolent resistance from 12pm - 4pm on Cambridge Common

with art, live music, education, and ice cream, where we can build and strengthen the community networks we will all need to channel our rage into nonviolent action.

Learn from Mass 50501 and others about the strategy of nonviolent civil resistance and tactics of noncooperation. Connect with local groups doing vital community work, from organizing mutual aid for those in need to fighting for immigrants’ rights.

Come for the festival. Stay for the resistance. Free Ice Cream for the first 1k attendees.

Calls to action:

  • Support mutual aid. We call on all Americans to prepare for the long struggle against the regime now by redirecting their spending from corrupt corporations to their own communities.
  • Minimize overall spending. We must undertake a practice of voluntary austerity now in order to avoid forced austerity forever under the merciless boot of the Trump regime.
  • Speak up! Speak out! Get in the way!, If the regime hurts us, then we must use the power of our voices and our wallets to make sure the regime hurts with us through nonviolent action and peaceful defiance.

There will be porta potties on site.

Please be sure to bring items to keep yourself comfortable in the August heat. We recommend water and sunscreen.
