Join us for a 525,600-minute-worthy afternoon of belting, weeping, and taking your hand through the emotional rollercoaster that is RENT. This is not your average Sunday. This is a Viva La Vie Bohème, Today 4 U, Tomorrow 4 Me, Out Tonight kinda Sunday.
This event is for anyone who’s ever felt like living in America at the end of the millennium (or in 2025 lol): a little broke, a lot gay, endlessly dramatic, and always ready to harmonize with strangers over something that makes you feel alive.
Whether you’re a 🎥 Mark with a camera and a penchant for black turtlenecks, a 🎸Roger brooding in the corner with a song you swear you’ll finish someday, a 🎤Maureen ready to monologue into the void (and make it sexy), or a 💼Benny with… let’s be honest, some highly questionable real estate ambitions — this sing-along is for you. Maybe you’re a 🕯️Mimi dancing on the table with glitter in your veins, a 📚Joanne keeping everything running with one hand on the law and the other on Maureen’s drama, an 👠Angel in heels making Today 4 U everyone’s anthem, or a 🧣Collins quoting philosophy and giving away his coat in the name of love.
🧥 Costumes highly encouraged (come as your favorite Alphabet City disaster) — we’re hosting a costume contest with two winners: one for most accurate and one for best interpretive chaos.
We’re not paying last year’s rent, or next year’s rent — we’re paying tribute to chosen family, queer joy, and the power of yelling “I’ll Cover You (Reprise)” with total strangers.
