LOG IN TO YOUR LIFE

An Immersive Sci-Fi Tale by Motia & Nait Saves

LOGI IN TO YOUR LIFE is an immersive sci-fi tale that reflects on our current techno-fictional world where the boundaries between human and technology are completely blurred. This artwork questions our context in which digital technologies not only transform our identities, but also shape our perception of our body and emotions. In this universe, the character must log in to life itself: process their dreams, set their body, program their thoughts and emotions, and receive instructions to navigate everyday life. An omnipresent artificial intelligence guides every decision, from classifying unconscious desires to configuring new sensory experiences.

THIS IS A SCHEDULED IMMERSIVE INSTALLATION

The experience runs every 30 minutes, starting at 12PM, with the last screening at 4PM.

On August 16 at 3PM, the screening will be followed by a Q+A with the artists.

MOTIA is an argentinian duo of multidisciplinary artists who create immersive mixed realities. Researching and experimenting through digital art, they merge physical and virtual spaces using various devices, from a narrative, technopoetic and conceptual perspective. Their constant drive is the desire to create experiences that inspire deep sensory stimulation, inviting the audience to experiment, engage and connect emotionally and viscerally.

NAIT SAVES is an argentinian composer, soundscapist and immersive audio designer. She explores and fuses genres such as organic ambient, experimental electronica and minimalist neoclassical. She approaches her work in a cinematic way, telling stories through sound, text and image. In her creative process she combines intuitive improvisation, field recording and the use of foley and orchestral instruments. Thus creating a hybrid and hypnotic sound art inspired by fantasy, eco-futurism and metamorphosis; and influenced by artists such as Oneohtrix Point Never, Ryuichi Sakamoto and God is an Astronaut.
