Intro to Lacto Fermented Foods Workshop

Curious about fermented foods? This class will demystify the magic behind lacto fermentation, create excitement around the abundance of flavors, and build confidence through connecting with our senses. Students will be guided through the processes of wet and dry brine techniques, the importance of safety, how to evaluate successful (and not so successful) ferments, and ways to incorporate fermented foods into their daily lives. This class includes fermented snacks, and each student will make a batch of sauerkraut to ferment at home. Please bring your own clear, clean glass jar. Money should not be a barrier. A limited number of scholarships are available. Please contact me for more information.
