About this Event

These sessions are for those ready to move beyond “just getting through.” If you’re seeking calm in the midst of chaos, recommitting to leadership in your life, relationships, and home, and ready to listen to your body’s wisdom—this is for you. We’ll draw on ancient TCM practices, reflect honestly on what gets in our way, and learn how to live and lead with more presence.

About Dr. Shawna Murray-Browne

Dr. Shawna Murray-Browne, LCSW‑C, is an integrative psychotherapist, healer, and cultural historian who blends ancestral wisdom, oral history, and mind‑body practices to help others move toward wholeness. She is nationally recognized for creating healing spaces that empower Black women and communities to lead with authenticity and well‑being.

Known among fellow therapists for her work in decolonial, liberatory approaches to mental health and for redefining mental and community health as we know it, she serves as Principal Consultant of Kindred Wellness LLC and is the creator of the Liberation‑Focused Healing Framework. Her work bridges scholarship and practice, grounded in years of research into the oral histories of Black women activists.

A student of Qigong and the Tao for over a decade, Dr. Shawna guides others to listen to their bodies, integrate ancient insights, and move in harmony with rhythms that sustain life.
