WESTSIDE MAKER SPACE MEMBER ORIENTATION

• learn about the equipment we have available at the Makerspace, see a demonstration of how the tools work, and what each piece of equipment could be used for (laser cutter, 3d printer, wood Carvey- CNC router, sublimation printer, vinyl cutter, t-shirt press, mug press).

• Understand basic safety for each machine, and the rules, protocol and operations in the Makerspace and

• leave with your own keychain made at the Makerspace using the Laser engraver.

Orientation costs $35. After completing the orientation, participants are eligible to begin their first month of standard membership at the Makerspace (Standard 24/7 hr access Memberships are $35/mo) Memberships can begin immediately following the orientation.

Cancellation Policy

In order for our classes to proceed, a minimum of three total participants is required. If you are the sole ticket holder for a class, it is subject to cancellation. We encourage you to invite a friend to ensure your class takes place. If the class is canceled, a full refund will be issued. We understand your plans may change. To receive a full refund or credit for another class, please notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled class start time. Beyond this 24-hour mark, no refunds will be issued.

Photography Policy

We enjoy capturing Maker Moments and the beautiful creations made by our participants. We may take photographs during classes and events to share the inspiring experiences with our community. If you prefer not to have your photo taken or used on our platforms, please let us know directly at Y29udGFjdCB8IHdlc3RzaWRlbWFrZXJzcGFjZSAhIGNvbQ== before your class. Unless specified otherwise, Westside Makerspace retains the right to use photos on our social media platforms, websites, and promotional materials.
