Sydney's rawest indie punks Space Plants kick things off with a blast of distorted melody and late-night reflection, serving up gritty truths and big feelings in three-minute bursts. Blue Mountains bogan-punk trio General Waste follow up with their no-frills, goofball chaos-high energy, low budget, maximum fun.
Then things get weird. From the dark wilds of Tasmania comes Samora Squid, a one-man freakshow of sword swallowing, body suspension, contortion and extreme physical feats that will warp your brain and churn your guts. You've never seen anything like it.
Headlining the night are the riff-slinging, groove-heavy heavyweights The Magician, blending hardcore stompers with grungy hooks that'll drag you into the pit and spit you out sweat-drenched and smiling.
