About this Event

Join us for an exciting community event at the Morrison House celebrating the work of local literacy nonprofit organizations here in Alexandria. From book distributions, to family events, to no-cost reading tutoring, these organizations each support youth and families in Alexandria on their life-long literacy journeys. Enjoy an evening of community engagement and meet fellow community members with a shared passion for reading and learning, all in the beautiful, literary themed hotel - The Morrison House! Meet representatives from the following organizations, learn about their work, and see how you could get involved:

Volunteer Alexandria will also be there to share how to get involved in volunteering in Alexandria overall!
