About this Event

Toronto vocalist John Amato and his band will be joined by Joe Amato on tenor to perform a show of the music of his childhood. Growing up with a father who is a jazz musician he was exposed to many great standards, recordings and artists at an early young age. With great respect for the music and its history, he sings every song with smooth, dynamic energy. He has sung at venues and concert halls across Ontario as a featuring artist and with the Toronto All-Star Big Band. Featuring the music of Kurt Elling, Dexter Gordon, Mel Torme, John Coltrane and more!
