Charm Bracelet Workshop with Quincie Hamby
About this Event
Join Goodwood with artist Quincie Hamby for a Saturday afternoon jewelry making in the beautiful cottages at Goodwood Museum & Gardens.
This 3-hour workshop will guide attendees through making their own charm bracelet in Quincie Hamby’s signature style. Utilizing an eclectic collection of charms, beads, and recycled jewelry, your charm bracelet will be one-of-a-kind and will make a statement wherever you wear it!
Attendees will be able to choose whether they will be creating a brass or silver bracelet, and 5 charms/beads are included with your ticket purchase. Quincie’s design calls for 10-15 charms in total, so attendees are strongly encouraged to bring their own additional charms to be worked into the design.
Charms for the bracelet can be odd beads collected throughout your travels, single earrings that you love but might have lost their mate, sentimental pendants that you want to rework into a new piece, or any funky charm that you would like to include in your bracelet design.
Quincie will have additional beads and charms available for sale, should attendees wish to buy individual beads from her.
Tools will be available for borrowing, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own round nose pliers, chain nose pliers, and wire cutter (if possible).
