Please join the USS Hornet as we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.

We will be focusing on the war in the Pacific and on the cooperation between China and the United States (The Doolittle Raid, Flying Tigers, Carrier Raids in the Pacific and more). We will have special presentations, exhibits and much more!

The agenda for the day will be as follows:

10:30am - 11:30am Opening ceremony and VIP speeches Main Stage in Hangar Bay 311:30am - 12:30pm USS Hornet Presentation Main Stage in Hangar Bay 312:30pm - 1:30pm Break for lunch1:30pm - 4:30pm Panel discussions of select topics of World War II in the China theater and US/Chinese cooperation Main Stage in Hangar Bay 34:40pm - 5:20pm dinner and social Main Stage in Hangar Bay 35:20pm - 5:40pm Break for appetizers/prep for closing performance6:00pm - 7:00pm closing concert (short performance)/fashions how/awards ceremony Flight Deck (weather permitting-otherwise in hangar Bay)

We will have Pacific themed food vendors with food available for purchase (full lunch/appetizers int he evening).

Tickets are $40 for adults, $25 for Seniors/Military, $20 for Students/Children, Free for Children 6 and under

This follows our successful artifact exchange in April with the Doolittle Raid Memorial Hall in Quhzou China.
