Birds of Prey
About this Event
Presented by Upper Wabash Interpretive Services and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, this event features expert naturalist Teresa Rody, a 35-year DNR veteran. She’ll share fascinating stories about each bird’s journey from injury to rescue, and reveal how these top predators help keep our ecosystems in balance.
These stunning raptors—such as hawks, owls, and more*—are real-life survivors, permanently injured but now serving as powerful educational ambassadors.
After the show, stick around for a rare photo opportunity—pose with up to five of these majestic birds perched safely on the glove. Remember your camera!
Please note: this event will be held inside the Gene's Education Annex (formerly "My Photo Studio") at the east end of the Gene's Camera building, on the corner of Lincoln Way West and Taylor St.
*Actual types of birds on location may vary and cannot be guaranteed.
