Beginners Beading Circle
About this Event
Join us on July 24 from 6 pm to 8 pm for our community Beading Circle, where we spend an evening of beading and knowledge sharing. Anyone who would like to learn how to bead.
The Indigenous Beading Circle has been created with the intention of welcoming both Indigenous and non-Indigenous creatives of all skill levels to join in a safe and creative space for open discussion and knowledge sharing. Throughout this workshop, let's embrace the wisdom passed down through generations and celebrate the artistic expressions that have shaped Indigenous communities' identities.
Logan Tootle of the Cherokee Nation will be hosting the beading circle.
Tickets are free for all Indigenous-identifying people. For non-indigenous allies, we encourage a suggested donation of $20.
Doors will be closed at 6:30 so that everyone can bead without interruptions.
