About this Event

For our 21st year, we're excited to announce our new home at The District - Prairie Trail in Ankeny! This move allows us to expand and create an even more vibrant, unforgettable experience for all. The District offers the prefect blend of a pedestrian-friendly layout with great amenities and ample space for all the Oktoberfest traditions you love! Celebrate Oktoberfest traditions in true German style at Des Moines’ 21st Annual Oktoberfest.

You bring the dirndl and lederhosen, we’ll supply the Bavarian beers, ‘kraut and everything you need to get into the spirit. Get ready to prost the day away, 'cause you're gonna wanna try all the German, local and regional craft beers, eat all the pretzels and experience all the fun of our traditional competitions, live music including the regions finest polka bands and Saturday afternoon's "Rocktoberfest" {Rock & Roll Cover Bands} a Slient Disco, games and more!

DAY 1: Friday, Sept. 26 from 3pm-Midnight

DAY 2: Saturday, Sept. 27 from 12pm-Midnight

Tickets include admission for both days, an acrylic Oktoberfest stein and your first drink and free parking. {Bring your stein back on Saturday night for free admission.}

Advance general admission: $25 (includes 2-day admission, an acrylic Oktoberfest stein and your first drink free!)

Day of admission: $30, September 26-27
