Get your hands dirty and join us for a day of gardening at the Greentown Grows Garden Work Event !

About this Event

Join us in the garden for a good old-fashioned W**d-pulling party! We have a lot of weeds and need everyone's help to keep the vegetables healthy. Come enjoy fresh air, good company, and the satisfaction of making a big difference. We'll provide tools - just bring your enthusiasm. Let's work together to make Greentown even greener!

Please bring work gloves, water, and dress for the weather. Unless it is storming or pouring rain, the event is on. If the event needs to be canceled, an email will be sent out by 8 am.

To find the garden, go to the address for Waukegan BMX (2785 W Yorkhouse Rd, Waukegan, IL 60085). The entrance to the BMX track is off Yorkhouse Rd between Green Bay and McAcree. The garden is located at the end of the big parking lot in front of the BMX track. Please click here for a map.
